LSD and The Elites

Brave New World author and futurist, Aldous Huxley, from an illustrious pseudo – scientific English family, tripped on the way to death and wherever he landed.

“He died on a different mental plane than he was born into”. “… on the day he died of cancer 1963, Huxley asked his wife Laura to administer LSD to him — his own moksha medicine of choice. She obliged, giving him 200µg before he slipped into [what he conceived as] the void.”

Regarding Faux Democracies and Totalitarianism, he wrote of

Quietly Running “the Show”

“…democracies will change their nature; the quaint old forms—elections, Supreme Courts and all the rest—will remain. The underlying substance will be a kind of non-violent totalitarianism. All the traditional names, all the hallowed slogans will remain exactly what they were in the good old days. Democracy and freedom will be the theme of every broadcast—but democracy and freedom in a strictly Pickwickian sense.

Meanwhile the ruling oligarchy and its highly trained elite of soldiers, policemen, thought-manufacturers and mind-manipulators will quietly run the show as they see fit.”—Aldous Huxley, Brave New World Revisited (his book of serious essays available from Amazon)

The New Utopia… Even Christians are Mesmerized. It is planned that way, Aldous Huxley said.

“A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which the all-powerful executive or political bosses and their army of managers control a population of slaves who do not have to be coerced, because they love their servitude. To make them love it is the task assigned, in present-day totalitarian states, to ministries of propaganda, newspaper editors and school teachers…

“The greatest triumphs of propaganda have been accomplished, not by doing something, but by refraining from doing. Great is truth, but still greater, from a practical point of view, is silence about truth.” —Aldous Huxley
